It evaluates listening and speaking skills in operational contexts. The ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) language proficiency scale ranges from Level 1 (Pre-elementary) to Level 6 (Expert), establishing a standardized measure of language abilities required for safe and efficient aeronautical communication.
